CD Projekt Red shows photo mode of Cyberpunk 2077

Decodeloper CD Projekt Red shows the photo mode of Cyberpunk 2077. In a two-minute trailer, the developer looks at the different features of this mode, including different effects. The game is released Thursday, December 10th.

In the trailer other different poses and facial expressions for main character V, which users can customize in photo mode. Users can also freely reposition their own character in photo mode, and then take a photo from third-person perspective. Photo mode also offers various lighting options, filters, stickers, frames and other effects.

Community lead Marcin Momot reported a few weeks ago that the game will be in photo mode, but developer CD Projekt Red did not share any images of its operation at the time. In 2019, the game’s Twitter account already posted a short teaser, which insinuated the arrival of a photo mode.

Although the game is not yet out, some users already have the game in their home, it was revealed recently. Gameplay footage of the game leaked last week. On social media CD Projekt Red calls on users who got their hands on the game too early not to share images of the game until December 9 at 12:00 pm DUTCH time. The company says this is the way it does because of the appearance of spoilers. Until then, CD Projekt Red will have the videos removed from video platforms.

The game will be released on Playstation 4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stages on December 10. Upon release, the game will also work on the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X and S, although a full-fledged next genpatch will follow in 2021. Initially, the game was scheduled to be released in April, but was later postponed twice until September 17 and November 19, respectively, before the current release date of December 10 was announced.
