A recent app to join the dark mode league is the Facebook Messenger app. The feature is still in testing phase so it is not yet available, directly to the public. But, there is a way to enable dark mode in Messenger on Android or iOS. Here is how to enable the hidden dark mode in Facebook messenger.

- Open Facebook Messenger.
- Select the moon emoji and send it to your friend or even your self.
- You will see a message popup saying to enable dark mode in settings.
