This guide shows you how you can unlock HTC One X10 bootloader and how you can flash TWRP recovery on HTC One X10 dual-sim.

HTC One X10 was released back in July 2017. It features a 5.5″ 1080p display,a MT6755 Helio P10 processor, 3GB RAM and 4000 mAh battery. Although the phone gives nothing to brag about, there are still people who bought this phone. And if you are one of them, here is How to Install Official TWRP Recovery on HTC One X10.


How to Unlock HTC One X10 Bootloader

  1. Visit HTCDev website and Signup
  2. Once logged-in, click on Unlock Bootloader.
  3. Select your device from the list, click on Unlock Bootloader button and accept terms and conditions.
  4. On your PC, open CMD (make sure ADB drivers and HTC drivers are installed)
  5. Connect your device to PC with developer option enabled. Also, enable USB debugging and OEM unlock in developer options.
  6. Navigate to adb/fastboot folder and right click while holding the Shift key and select Open Command Window here from the options.
  7. Now Type:
     adb reboot bootloader
  8. When the device reboots, type:
     fastboot oem get_identifier_token
  9. Copy the generated string and paste it on HTC website text field.
  10. You will get an Unlock.bin file sent to your email.
  11. Download that file and paste it into adb folder.
  12. Now type:
    fasboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin
  13. Done.

Install Official TWRP Recovery on HTC One X10

  1. Download the Official TWRP recovery.
  2. Connect your device to PC.
  3. Navigate to adb/fastboot folder.
  4. Type:
    adb reboot bootloader
  5. Once rebooted, type:
    fastboot flash recovery  recoveryname.img
  6. After installation process finishes, type:
    fastboot reboot
  7. Done.

Congratulations! You are now running official TWRP Recovery on HTC One X10. Happy Modding!!
