Samsung has already released its flagship for 2018 but LG is still preparing its guns. The company’s next flagship dubbed the LG G7 ThinQ launch is just a week away but as the release day is approaching near, the leaks are increasing in numbers. Just a couple of hours ago, Evan Blass (aka @Evleaks) has posted a photo on Twitter exposing the LG G7 from every angle and the device does look promising.
If you didn’t already know, LG G7 ThinQ will be packing all the bells and whistles of 2018 as the leaks are suggesting. On the front, the device will feature a 6.1-inch QHD+ resolution (2880 x 1440 pixels) display with a “notch” (Yes, be ready to welcome the mighty notch). Unlike its predecessor, the G7 will come with latest Snapdragon SoC i.e. the Snapdragon 845. To complement that, the phone will house 4GB RAM and 32GB of onboard storage (though latest trends suggest 6GB RAM).
If the leaks are depicting the original piece of hardware, we might be getting the headphone jack in LGG7 ThinQ.
When it comes to cameras, LG will be ditching the horizontal camera alignment and is going with vertical dual camera setup in the G7. According to rumors, the main lens will be 16MP with f/1.6aperture coupled with a wide-angle lens. AndroidHealines suggest this lens be capable of capturing 107-degree field of view. There is no news about the front facing camera, but it will most probably be 5MP as LG V30 is bearing the same front-facing camera.
LG G7 ThinQ will be launching next week with the global launch set for May 2nd. Until the company announces the device officially, take this news with a pinch of salt and sit back for the official release next week.
